Fungi of the Wet Tropics.

In the wet tropics, during summer, more than 6 metres of rain can be recorded. It rains continuously for days and both during and after the rainfall, Fungi commence growth and in a matter of sometimes hours, it is possible to see the spores forming shapes and eventually colours as it grows toward the sun.

This delicate Fungi is growing out of dead tree stumps on the rainforest floor after heavy rainfall.
