Overland Track Tasmania
The Overland Track is a hike through some of Tasmania's most remote wilderness areas. The hike goes from Cradle Mountain to Lake St Clair and covers a variety of wilderness areas from alpine areas through to rainforest and marsh areas. The weather throughout the region is as varied as the scenery, sunshine, rain, sleet, hail, snow, wind and all this can be in one day. The landscapes and wildlife of the area make the Overland Track a very special place not only in Tasmania but in Australia.
