Abercrombie is an obscure cave site roughly half way between Crookwell and Bathurst. Its a small and quiet getaway in the bush. The self guided cave is where the river cuts through a limestone ridge. It's actually called "Grove Creek" but its bigger than most of the 'rivers' around Canberra. There is a bushranger story and some wildlife too. 3.5km downstream are the falls with a deep valley and a pretty tall drop.
