Historic places in Hawaii

Stock Photography By Doris Miocinovic

All islands of Hawaii are full of ancient history and structures where Hawaiian monarchy lived. Hawaiian culture and traditions are preserved and often practiced at these ancient and sacred places with very unique structures and protocols. Places such as 'Ahu'ena Haiau in Kailua-Kona, Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (historic place of refuge and formal royal grounds), Kaniakapupu, 'Iolani palace are some of them, and also popular tourist destinations. Enjoy!
