Austria at a glance

Stock Photography By Christina Jablonski

There is plenty to enjoy in Vienna, the capital of Austria; monumental buildings such as the opera house, imperial palace complex of Schonbrunn or baroque Belvedere palace and museum with countless paintings and sculptures; there are also art exhibitions, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. South of Vienna in the Danube River valley is a sacred destination, the Melk Abbey. Both the valley (Wachau) and the abbey are considered UNESCO world heritage site.
