Newfoundland

Stock Photography By Shirley Lannoo

Newfoundland/Labrador, the last province to join Canada in 1949 is one big beautiful island (and a giant rock on the mainline) with a shoreline scattered with scenic fishing villages and towns. The people are friendly, love music, and know how to have a good time. The back yards on Newfoundland are full of moose which the locals regularly harvest along with the fish in the sea. A paradise for visitors who live with the locals (Bed & Breakfasts) since motels are few and far between.
