Wildlife in BC, Canada

Stock Photography By Jackie Bourn

The wildlife in British Columbia, Canada is rich and diverse. The Haida Gwaii (Queen Charlotte islands) has may species that are not found elsewhere and so has been called the Galapagos of the north. The area is known for whale watching (fin, sperm, right, humpback and grey whales) as well as orcas. Birdlife is abundant and the intertidal life is plentiful. All of which make it a fascinating place to visit.
