Birds - Australian Bustard.

Stock Photography By Paul Ross

View images of the Australian Bustard - Ardeotis australis - in its wild habitat. These birds are very shy and an ellusive bird which is not often seen. They are difficult to photograph but I was lucky enough to capture these images at the Townsville Common, Queensland. Some images were taken in South Australia near Tumby Bay on Eyre Peninsula, where surprisingly, I saw a Bustard roaming on a road and a farm paddock. They are not usually seen in this area.
