Sea Turtles

Bare Sand Island in Bynoe Harbour is a prime nesting area for flatback turtles in northern Australia. The marine reptiles lay more than 500,000 eggs a year on the island, of which about two percent survive. Digging for hatchlings that couldn't get out.
