Xian Bell Tower 01

At the centre of Xian lies the iconic Ming architectural style Bell Tower. It was built in 1384 AD and stands 40 metres high. It is named the Bell Tower because in earlier times, every morning, a large bronze bell would be rung to mark the beginning of the day.
