Mule Deer In Winter

Mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) are generally found throughout Western North America. The males lose their antlers each winter and grow them again beginning in early spring. Probably the easiest way to differentiate them from white tail deer are their large ears that look similar to a mule's.
