 June 2011 the area received over 150mm of rain in two days cutting roads and flooding properties. The run off from the surrounding hills created waterfalls and streams in previously dry land. Here is a selection of images of the transformed landscape. More |

 Nothing heralds the start of an Australian summer as the sound of the cicadas. Summer is on its way! I spent the evening watching a cicada emerge from its shell. The gradual strengthening of its paper fine wings over a few hours was fascinating to watch.

 I've just published a new lightbox of a local Jam Session. These images bring together an amazing collection of musicians. The youngest is three and the oldest over sixty. Age is no barrier and a love of music the only entry card.
