I am a versatile journalist, photographer and web designer from Hobart, the capital of Tasmania, Australia's idyllic island state.
I started writing for Canadian web site Suite101.com in 2001 and this led to a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Journalism at the University of Tasmania. I am now the Photography Feature writer at suite101.
After thirty years with Australia's major telecommunications company, I formed my own media business Northeast Media and provide web site development and management and photographic services.
I also earned an Associate Diploma in Applied Science (Computing) in 1995, providing a solid foundation in the nuts and bolts of web design and digital photo processing.
My range of interests are evident in a passion for photography. Initially photography combined with motor sport with photography credits include KartOz and Kart Magazine as well as national motor sport magazines Motorsport News and Auto Action. His images have also appeared in the Circular Head Chronicle.
On the web I present at topical view of my home state at a viewfinder darkly - a mixture of articles about photography articles and collections of my pictures.
